I don’t know about you but I personally think that the PS3 is far and away the best gaming console, and some of the best games that you can get to play on it are driving and car racing games. Even just with a regular controller they are very exciting and great fun, but if you have a racing wheel, or even better a racing wheel and pedals set, then they are even more realistic and even more fun.

But there is, of course, a huge range in the quality of the gaming from one title to the next. So whilst sometimes you might buy something that is really brilliant, there are others that you can buy which will not be so good. So what are the best ps3 racing games?

Well, in my opinion, and also in the opinion of most other people that I have spoken to (or read the posts of on internet forums) the best racing game of 2010 is most definitely GT5. The latest game in the long running Gran Turismo series this has been as eagerly awaited by fans as any I can think of, and it hasn’t dissapointed.

Need for Speed Shift has been around a bit longer, it isn’t a new release for this year, but I think it would make it into most gamers top 3 list for the best ps3 racing game titles.

My third choice is Motorstorm Pacific Rift. It isn’t realistic racing at all, but has some great big jumps and skidding around and I think that it is brilliant fun.
