One way to make a piece of furniture with drawer look great and possibly antique is to replace the knobs with crystal drawer pulls. Crystal has a way of evoking nostalgia and can make any chest of drawers, set of cabinets, or china cabinet look vintage and highly decorative. It may be expensive to buy a set of crystal drawer pulls but the price is probably far less than buying a new piece of furniture with all the bells and whistles already attached. Your local hardware stores are probably unlikely to have a large selection of crystal handles in stock but they are easy to find online at any one of the countless specialty hardware stores.
