Let’s start by talking about the positives with the Zojirushi. This unit has a thermal carafe, and it has a thermally insulated water casket which keeps the water nice and hot during the filtering process. This is tempered slightly by the fact the hot water from the heating element is ran through the cold water in the water reservoir, but it shouldn’t cause you too many problems unless you use chilled water.

The Bunn produces coffee at super fast speeds; you usually have your coffee within 3 minutes. This and the durable design make the Bunn well worth taking a look at. Unfortunately the speed disappears if you want to save energy by turning the machine off ever. This would means the machine has to heat up again and take almost 15 minutes to complete.
