Have you seen a house décor that caught your attention recently? I have seen how a single outdoor clock converted a place into an astoundingly beautiful scene. Albeit, it’s just a décor nevertheless it made the place a good area for relaxation. How? Well, the decorator used the outdoor clock as the focal point of the outdoor living space. It was beautifully hung and the other decors and furniture were chosen to conform to the rustic style of the clock.
Inspired by what I saw I began my own search for my own outdoor clock at home. I wanted a makeover of my outdoor space. In decorating the house I have been giving more of my time inside and missed out beautifying the outdoor area. I do not have even a single décor at my screened porch!
From what I have gathered about outdoor clocks, its composition is either made of resin, wood, metal or plastic. All were made to be durable since it is specifically for the outdoor. In addition, mostly have a thermometer to measure the temperature outside. The different types of outdoor clocks are classified as wall clock, hanging clock and pedestal clocks. Wall clocks are just simply hanging on the wall, hanging clocks have braces attach to the clock and can either be hang on the walls or on the built poles in your garden. While pedestal clocks though distinctive in style and uniquely simpler décor, it has single faces and has a stand. It is mostly seen in the outdoors of buildings, church, school or offices. The styles and shapes of these outdoor clocks are varied which will surely excite the imagination and creativity of a homeowner in making the beautiful décor the focal point of the outdoor. Modern, traditional, rustic, retro, antique and fancy – are the many styles available for outdoor clocks.
My son, a basketball fanatic was really surprised seeing the basketball shaped clock in the porch. Likewise the furniture used conforms to the sporty look and throw pillow covers handpicked were those with printed numbers for a manly look. The outdoor of the house has been his hangout place with friends ever since. Now it’s their favorite area outdoors.
