A fact of the game of Terrain in Starcraft 2 is that many Zerg players are grabbing their expansions quickly. This can be disadvantageous for the player of Terrain as the game progresses. If we think that a Zerg player can expand this strategy to deflect the expansion and get “gg” from our opponent. It is very important to wall off the ramp to avoid Zergling counter attack.
We need good Starcraft 2 Terrain Strategy so we may start a Supply Depot at 9 and Barracks at 12. When our Barracks moves down, we can go ahead and send our scout SCV to check our opponents. As soon as it is confirmed that our opponent is expanding quickly, we can move our SCV out of vision for some time. We can go back at our base and can grab a refinery at 14. When our Barracks finishes, we can pump out some Marines immediately and send them for opponent’s expo and forgo a second Barracks to get a Factory quickly. When our first Marine reaches our opponents expo, we can move our SCV, which is hanging next to our opponents.
We can make the Hatchery and the Bunker in firing range of the Hatchery. If our opponent has many Zergling’s and he sends a Drone to stop our Bunker or any Spine Crawlers he may try to sneak in, we can use our incoming Marines to ward this off. When our Bunker finishes, we can send our Marines and start working on Hatchery as our SCV goes for another Bunker. At our base, we can have a couple of Hellions ready to counter our opponent for Zergling attack. When the Marines finish off the Hatchery, this will be an advantage for us over our partner. Tech immediately to Banshee is a smart and quick way to finish the game and we may be constructing an extra refinery and a Star port. Our opponent can have no anti-air units except the Queen and if we have a couple of Banshee’s, we can harass him till he goes out of the game.
