Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday it’s really the only time of the year that everyone gets together and we don’t have to buy gifts. It is a time of good food, god friends and family. I special enjoy the smells emanating from the kitchen throughout the day. Wow that certainly brings back memories.

My mom and dad would always make enough turkey so that we would have plenty for leftovers. I remember making turkey sandwiches with stuffing, mayo and of course a thin slice of cranberry sauce it’s like a miniature Thanksgiving dinner.
