Home Business: 8 Simple Ways To Develop Charisma

Maybe you have to work on your charisma. I was always led to have faith that there have been only ‘haves’ and ‘have nots’ in the charisma department… but at this moment I’m not so sure as I begin to perform a little ‘house keeping’ on my own charm (at my husband’s proposition – ouch!).

So after some ‘charisma research’…. This is certainly what I came up with for myself…

1. Self-worth – Try being sure you have rehearsed what you are saying and trust it. If you don’t trust it, you are not going to deliver it with charisma. Believe that you simply know very well what you’re talking about. 2. Don’t take your home based business too seriously. Try to inject humour into what you are doing.. Figure out how to make fun of yourself. Set yourself in a happy place mentally and physically if you can … you’ll be much more charming and charismatic if you aren’t grouchy! For me this is sitting on my front veranda working my home based business overlooking the park. I frequently giggle about the life I’ve created for myself (My cleaning lady once took the freedom of telling me how blessed I was… I gently informed her that there was little ‘luck’ involved, simply thorough planning, a little stake taking and careful application… she continued vacuuming hoping for luck to come her way… she’s still waiting I suspect!)

3. You will appear much more charismatic to someone when you can mirror their ‘demeanour, energy, languaging, posture’ etc. It truly is well documented that individuals feel most comfortable on the subconscious level with someone when there is much similarity. Study the several communication styles (there are 3 of four main styles… and they can be learned – to understand these is usually to tap into the ultimate tool for developing charisma and rapport with your home business potential clients…)

4. Energy…. It’s not necessary to be over the top and actually the top end producer in my home business opportunity is very ‘measured’ and calm in his conversations… however, charisma has a certain positive and confident power about it. Individuals are more likely to purchase from someone who’s a positive energy rather than a negative one and remember that people purchase YOU not your product!

5. Emotion - Speak with emotion. People will sense the degree of sincerity with the emotion in your voice.

6. I adore this one… Wherever possible, relate the subject back to the person, their needs and what is essential in life in general. Charismatic people are usually people who inspire others and a way of doing this is exactly by taking a topic and suggestively broadening it to include or involve them.

7. Be organized… be sure your conversation is well planned. To become compelling you must make sense. Record yourself and have a listen… get your friends or partner to listen and present you with some honest comments.

8. Speak along with integrity.. Be patient, well mannered and honest. This says much with reference to the person you are and will make your prospect feel secure doing business with you. Accept that for a few, now may not be the right time for them; make them feel at ease that they can return at any time later on for support. I’m all the time open to helping people in related areas also if I possess the expertise even though it doesn’t make me any money! Bear in mind that to give is to receive… much of the world has forgotten this.
