Pastor M.M.Mathew, founder of IPC Virar, was born in 15th Dec. 1960, in Mallapalli, in Kerala, India. His parents were members of the Marthoma Church. At the age of 15 he met with an accident due to collision of zeep with his bicycle, thereby he was unconscious for 4 days. He was taken to several hospitals but of no useful purpose was served. His parents have prayed vigorously which has given result. God has given him new birth. 4th day he got consciousness and 18th day he got up and started walking. That time he prayed Jesus stating that he will dedicate his entire life to Jesus. From his young age he was saved and lived as a Son of God. He took a decision that Jesus is a person who saves anyone who suffers. He prayed Jesus wholeheartedly and He anointed with holy spirit afterwards and took water-baptism in 1980 at the age of 20. He joined Mallapalli zion Bible College in 1981& 1982. Afterwards he studied IPC Northen Region Bethel Bible College, Green Park, New Delhi. He also began his gospel work at the same time, and separated from the Bible College. He went to Halol Pioneer work at Gujarat and served for 4/5 years. Lord has given so many souls. God has given him opportunity to spread word of God among locals.
