
Tuna sandwich is one of those quick meals you can make at home and don’t have to worry about it being overly unhealthy for you.
Here is how I make a tuna sandwich, first make sure you have the following ingredients:
- 2 cans of tuna
- 2 cups of mayonnaise
- Diced celery
- Sliced Bread
- Any other vegetables you might want to add
First open the cans of tuna and make sure to get all the water out of the cans. It is important that the tuna is as dry out of the can as possible. You don’t want the tuna with water as it is will make your tuna sandwich soggy.
After the water is rinsed out of the tuna cans, dump the tuna in a bowl and add the 2 cups of mayonnaise. Also add the diced celery along with any other diced vegetables you may want to add. After the vegetables are added mix all the ingredients in the bowl. Make sure you thoroughly mix all the ingredients.
Once your ingredients are mixed, toast 2 pieces of sliced bread, I like to toast my bread, it gives the tuna sandwich more texture. After the bread is toasted you can add mayonnaise on the bread if you choose to. At this time you can also add additional vegetables like lettuce or slice of tomato to give your sandwich more taste. Paste your tuna on the bread and you are ready to eat. Potato chips go well with tuna sandwiches.
