About a year ago, a lot of people online were very excited at the news that Mr. Cage was going to on an over the top performance in a period fantasy movie which was proven true when the trailer for this movie was finally released. I do want to watch Season of the Witch online free for personal reasons, one being that I’m a lover of the Crusades era, with the Templar Knights making their presence felt. The movie starts as a crusader during the 14th Century travels back to his homeland only to find the Black Plague destroying his home. Believing the plague to be a work of witchrcaft and sorcery, the Catholic church orders the soldier to escort a captive witch to a remote abbey wherein rituals are to be performed on the witch on the hopes that the plague will disappear for good.
Along the course of their travels, they encounter a young man with ambitions of becoming a knight, a priest and a disgraced nomad and join them on their mission, facing several dangers in the wilderness and deadly combatants looking to put an end to the girl’s existence. Upon their arrival at the abbey, they discover a horrific revelation that jeopardizes the knights’ pledge to keep the girl under watchful protection and fair treatment, as they find themselves up against a powerful supernatural force which just may put an end to all of humanity.
