You know we often consider that if we just work really hard that we’ll be rewarded with success? Well, I’m sorry to mention that’s not always the case. Generally speaking, successful people they are those who work smart rather than hard. Don’t get me wrong….we definitely must be working very hard at working smarter!!
8 Ideas to Working Smarter Not Harder In Online Business!
So here are the few quick ideas for you to take away today. Aim to implement them one at a time and make them routine before moving onto the following one..
1. Be Flexible. In case you’re working on a project but it becomes clear that what you’re doing isn’t relevant to the result then be happy to alter, that way you’re not going to waste time on something that will be worthless when you finally realize that particular activity didn’t feed in with the master plan.
2. Stop Complaining. Complaining takes up smart time! if something isn’t working just stop it and don’t complain about it. Just be flexible and don’t waste your energy wingeing or complaining.
3. Prioritize. Make sure to prioritize things that are important to you for instance for me that is definitely lifestyle activities. So my personal development, my meditation, time with the children, getting them to school, doing my work out, etc., eating healthy food. After I prioritize that I then prioritize my business income generating activity.
4. Cultivate a Daily Method Of Operational (DMO). It’s really crucial that you have some form of day by day ritual around your activities. So again for me it’s lifestyle, then income producing activities after which ‘other’. Use Excel or Word (tables) to bring about this and put it somewhere noticeable…
5. Stop procrastinating. Procrastinators are not successful people in any way form or shape. Try this…analyze your entire day in ten minute blocks what you do at the end of ten, fifteen, 20 minutes. Mark it down. In the end of the day, you may be absolutely floored by the amount of time in your entire day that’s spent procrastinating time or a waste of your time or non -income producing activity time.
6. Multi-task like the Pros! You absolutely need to be doing a whole lot of things at just one occasion in this industry but make sure that you are multitasking things grouped together that may achieve an outcome. So, multi-task a bunch of things for a specific project. For instance, I am making a marketing strategy around Facebook, so I could be doing a variety of things at one time. I is likely that I would be creating an educational product about Facebook…while I’m doing the screenshots for that, I’m actually creating real advertisements that could go live and drive traffic for me. So I haven’t just done an example Facebook campaign, I am actually created a campaign and thus in multi tasking, I’ve achieved two outcomes associated with the one task.
7. Leverage technology in this industry. You know there are some intellectual colleagues of mine coming out with exceptional technology to automate your online business. You have to be automating all of your Tweets etc through a program like Hootsuite; program those in on a Sunday or even a Monday morning for the whole week. There’s a bunch of your business which you could automate so make it a point you’re doing that.
Use audio books. They’re awesome for keeping up with your own development.
8. Whenever you become capable on this business then start outsourcing to people that you could pay to complete quite a lot of the things that can be automated such as article submission, organizing those tweets on your behalf etc. A lot of your marketing for example could be outsourced.
So implement some of these tips and have the benefit of more spare time!!
