Arriving in town with plans of using the local pasture land to graze sheep, Jason Sweet (Glenn Ford) finds himself immediately making enemies of the locals who don’t want his sheep eating up all the feed. But Jason Sweet is a man who fears no one including Colonel Stephen Bedford (Leslie Nielsen) who seems to govern everything which goes on in town. The reason is, is that Jason knows Bedford and who he really is making it clear that he will let everyone know the truth if he’s not allowed to graze his sheep.
