As a writer I am pleased whenever I get a comment in the little box at the end of my article. I love to hear from other people who appreciate the work that I have put into writing about a particular subject. And then, of course, I will go across to their page and read there work. It is only polite, and I always end up learning something new that they have written about. But what about those annoying comments that you receive from somebody who is not only completely rude, but unfortunately for you, doesn’t belong to your site? How are you going to find out who they are and where they come from? You may feel that it is not necessary to know who they are, or what part of the world they have sent the message from. But what if it is a really horrible comment, and in fact it does creep you out? Well, don’t worry, because there is something called an IP Address. This is the pointer that tells you where the PC the spammer is using comes from at that point in time. It won’t tell you exactly where they live, but will give you an idea of the Country, and in fact the State or County that this person resides in.
