Indian tyre major, JK Tyre has been synonymous with Indian motor sport for a long time now. It is back, and back with a brand new racing series. In a move that could even out things in Indian motor sport and take it to the next level, JK Tyre is all set to usher in the Formula Pacific Championship at Chennai’s MMST circuit, later today.
The Formula Pacific series will witness drivers exhibiting their driving skills and taking on each other in premium single seater race cars. This marks the second such series in the country after the MRF 1600 series by JK Tyre’s arch rival tyre major, MRF. This one make series, which will directly rival the MRF Single Seater Championship is set to give many more talented and budding motor sport enthusiasts a platform to fine tune and showcase their racing skills.
