Life was simpler when the Baby Boomers were growing up. The only High Tech Gizmo or Gadget that I remember was the transistor radio. The kids played outside all day, did their homework at night and, if there was free time, read a book or listened to the radio.

Now the Boomers are inundated with electronic gadgets. Trying to keep up with the latest and greatest high tech gizmos is proving to be very stressful, confusing and time consuming. Do I buy an IPAD, I Phone, upgrade my desktop PC? Do I need to check Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Snipsly, Redgage every hour or even 15 minutes?

Can I live comfortably without all the current electronic gizmos? That is the question and the topic of the article.
