The TV show Glee, which airs Tuesday nights on Fox from 8-9PM EST, is a fabulous show for many reasons. Here they are, in a nutshell:
- great singing
- openly gay characters, especially teenagers
- laughs at itself
- serious and funny
- bringing the genre of musical back – not since the TV show “Cop Rock”, years ago, has that been accomplished
- huge variety of music – from hip hop to 80s rock to 60s pop to musical theater – theres’s something for everyone
