Home remedies to prevent hair loss
Aloe Vera:
Massage aloe vera gel onto the hair and keep it for 20 minutes. Aloe vera balances the PH level of hair and scalp. It also cures every scalp problem which can cause hair loss. To make it more effective apply aloe vera gel 2 times a week.
Fenugreek seeds:
Soak few fenugreek seeds in a pot of water and after sometime massage it in the scalp. After massaging cover the head with a cloth far around 3 hours. Repeat this process for 1 month to prevent hair loss.
Hair pack:
Make a hair pack by mixing henna paste, curd and eggs. Apply this pack on the head at least 1 time in a month. It will help to prevent hair loss.
Cucumber Juice:
Cucumber juice is very helpful to prevent hair loss. Drink 1 glass of cucumber juice daily to prevent hair loss. Cucumber juice is a great source of silica which is necessary to maintain healthy hair. Along with maintaining healthy hair cucumber juice will also aid the hair to grow quicker.
Mustard oil and henna leaves:
Prepare oil by boiling henna leaves (60grams) in mustard oil (250grams) till the leaves get almost dissolve in it. Allow this mixture to cool and then filter as well as preserve it. Apply it gently on the scalp and massage.
Ginger Rinse:
Rinse the hair with ginger water to prevent hair loss. Take some slices of ginger in a pot and fill water in it. Bring this water to boil and then remove from heat. Wash the hair with this water when it is slightly warmer. This will encourage blood circulation to the scalp and give healthier hair.
Fenugreek seeds and oil:
Take fenugreek seeds and hair oil (coconut oil or olive oil). Boil seeds in the oil and let it to cool. Filter it and fill it in a bottle. Utilize it to massage on the head.
Myrtle leaves:
Take myrtle leaves and crush them. After crushing, soak it in water for a day and apply it in next night before going to sleep. After applying cover it with the help of a cloth and keep it overnight. In the next morning, wash the hair with cold or warm water. Repeat this process for two weeks.
Coconut oil and amla:
Take coconut oil (½ cup) and some dry pieces of amla. Boil this mixture and let it to cool. Strain it and apply it on the scalp.
Rosemary leaves:
Take some rosemary leaves and water. Boil the mixture and strain it. Store the liquid and use it daily to rinse the hair.
Olive oil, honey and cinnamon powder:
Take olive oil and heat it in a pan. After heating it, add honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Combine well until it becomes a fine paste. Apply this paste on the hair and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.
Home made shampoo:
Take dried shikakai (Acacia Concinna), amla (Goose berry) and reetha powder (Sapindus Mucorosai) in equal quantity. Boil them in 2 liters of water till the water remains half and use this mixture to wash the hair.
Other home remedies:
- Eat amla in any form or drink its juice to prevent hair fall.
- Blend bananas, honey, yogurt and low fat milk and consume it.
- Mix 1 egg with 2tbsp of olive oil and beat it. Apply this to the hair and leave it for ½ an hour. Then rinse with cold water.
- Mixture of almond oil, olive oil and castor oil will also prevent hair loss.
- Take castor oil and apply it on the scalp and the roots (avoid hair). Cover the hair with newspaper and tie it with cloth. Leave it overnight and wash it in the next morning. Repeat the process for 7 to 8 days.
- Take 2 egg yolks and beat them with ½ cup of water. Massage this mixture into scalp and hair for 5 minutes and rinse with water.
- Make a paste of amla, shikakai and dry neem leaves as well as apply on the hair before washing the hair.
- Make a mixture of curd, henna powder and whisked eggs. Apply this mixture to the hair.
- Take egg yolk and mix honey in it. Massage this mixture into scalp and hair as well as leave it for ½ an hour. Then rinse with cold water.
- Take egg yolk and massage it on the scalp. Leave it for 1 hour and rinse with water.
- Add 1 tsp of mustard seeds in 1 cup boiling water and cook for around 5 minutes. Let it to cool and consume it.
- Simply rub olive oil in the scalp.
- Take coriander leaves and extract juice from it. Apply this juice on the hair.
- Mix ½ cup olive oil and 1 tablespoon of cumin. Massage this mixture over the scalp and keep it for ½ an hour. Rinse with water.
- Just massage the hair roots with coconut milk and after that rinse with water.
