There are different schools of thoughts in every perspective, whether it is sociology, geology, or religion. You will find number of schools of thoughts, which differ from one and another. This is due to the difference in level of perception, share of experience, field of experience, cultural differences and above all the autocratic or democratic natures of human beings.
Religions are also facing this issue, which is nothing unusual, because this is a universal truth that two people can never be alike, in their thinking, in their perception, in their expression, behavior, or practices. Therefore, these difference are universally accepted and nothing out of the world.
Like many other religions of the world, Islam enjoys different schools of thoughts (due to difference in the interpretation of the Qur’an). Despite of the fact, that there are number of schools of thoughts in one religion, but all have few communities and that is oneness of Allah and belief of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W.S.), being the last Prophet of Allah and Qur’an is the last book revealed to our beloved Prophet. There is no clash in the basic subject, since this is base of religion Islam.
Qur’an is the most sacred book for the Muslim Ummah. Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: “The superiority and preference of the Holy Qur’an on all other books and sayings is the same as the superiority of Almighty over His creatures.” This shows the importance of Qur’an and its preference over other books of the world. He further said that, “The Holy Qur’an is a wealth that no wealth can equal (or reach) it. And there will be no poverty after it.”
Qur’an is a holy scripture that has remained unchanged over the years. Not a single word has been touched, and every word is the same as it was revealed 1400 years ago. Qur’an has been revealed in Arabic text and the book is in the form of narrations. Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said:”The Book of the Almighty comprises of the narratives and incidents of the ancients; the news of the future ones; and the rules and regulations amongst you. The Holy Qur’an was the measure and weight of the truth and falsehood and it is not facetious and in vain.”
Qur’an touches every field of life, since it is the most comprehensive book, one can even think of. It discusses and teaches us the way of living, while narrating stories from the past, teaches us the morals to make our lives better and according to the commandments of Allah. However, the Qur’an is the code of life, which you have to follow, but the text of the Qur’an is equally important. This text has its own importance for which Allah and his prophet asked you to recite and recite more of this Arabic text.
Ameerul Momineen Ali (as) said:”In the day of Resurrection, it will be said to the reciter of the Holy Qur’an (Qaari) that recite (The Holy Qur’an) and step above. Recite as you have recited in the (previous) world. Your status and position is up to the last Ayats that you have recited.”
