The major carpentry work is completed before delivering the kit to you. All you need to do is to assemble the pieces and fixed it in place. You may be needed to make an adjustment to the ‘side skirtings’ which has to be cut to fit around your existing skirting board. This is called scribing which can be done with a jigsaw. The made-to-measure radiator cabinets generally have drop-down fronts for quick access to your radiator and valves which are secured with magnetic catches and the front panels are easily removed and put back in again without any problem or much of an effort.

You do have the option of having thermostatic valves as well. It’s for you to decide whether you desire to have the valve inside or outside the cabinet and it may depend on the size and position of the valve. It’s recommended by the Thermostatic valve manufacturers to leave them outside cabinets but it may not always be practically possible in which case you are to needed just to turn the thermostat up to take into account that it is inside a cabinet.
