I have recently noticed an unusual Facebook group titled ‘Facebook 2′ and on closer inspection I came to realise it was just a desperate attempt by an online marketer to gain traffic to another venture but I decided to do some research to find out if there was in fact a Facebook 2 social network.

When I did a Google search for ‘Facebook 2′ I found some interesting discoveries and this did include a Ning version of a ‘New Facebook’ designed by an angry regular Facebook user. He complained that since there have been so many security breaches and errors when you type your Facebook login that people should join his social network called ‘Facebook Two’.
