Game of thrones is the brand new television show released by HBO.  Anyone looking for a review of Game of Thrones from HBO need look no further.  This series is absolutely fantastic.  It is everything that many of the geeked out fan-boys of the series are hoping for.  The new fantasy series is utterly fantastic.

What makes the Game of Thrones series so good? It might almost be easier to ask what is it good about it. As any reader of the Game Thrones Books can attest to, the writing is simply superb. The HBO series stays more than true enough to the book to make this statement also true for the television series.  The story has deep characterizations and a marvelous and exciting plot line.

The cast and characters of Game of Thrones are equally fantastic. HBO has seemed to spare no expense in getting the very best actors to fill many of the major roles. The actors are so well-chosen they seem to walk right off the page. Even characters that were given little ambiguity about their, “evil” nature in the series are able to come off with a very slight bit of ambiguity. Such as incredible acting by Lena Headay, who makes a Cersei that you’re actually able to feel for the least slightly.  As anticipation builds for this great series is becoming clear that is everything the fans of the books are hoping for.
