The eight World Division title Manny Pacquiao is scheduled to face “Sugar” Shane Mosley this May. The Pacquiao vs Mosley fight will happen on May 7, 2011 on MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacquiao is already hooking up with Freddie Roach and started his eight-week preparation. Many boxing analysts said pick Pacquiao as the winner during an interview, and almost instantly the Filipino boxing icon has become the favorite. Pacquiao with his speed, his ability, and his power he will just overwhelm Mosley giving him a hard time early on. Meanwhile, Shane Mosley is going to throw a more punches from all different angles. He’s much bigger than Manny is, he has a great jaw, and he has still a power to knockout Pacquiao so Mosley is still dangerous fighter. We saw Sugar Shane Mosley catch Floyd early on with some hard shots and he almost knock down Floyd. The only thing I worried about Mosley is his stamina. That is because of his already 39 years old and I think he can only last around up to four or five rounds. This fight, however, is taking place in the welterweight division and when any objective person looks at both fighters resumes from the 147lb landscape, it’s a lot less tricky to figure out just who holds an edge.
