Discussion of UTI Symptoms with a Quadriplegic
As a disabled man with quadriplegia for an on going eight-years now I have had more than my fair share of experience with Bladder and or Urinary Tract Infections. In this short article I will discuss the main symptoms of such infections in an attempt too help the reader better evaluate their physical health…. A Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is when there is a build up of bacteria in the Urinary Tract. And if not treated in time it will lead to serious complications. Therefore a serious, strong and or lingering infection should always be treated with Antibiotics under the supervision of a licensed physician.
The five most common symptoms of a UTI are listed below.
1. A strong or bad smelling urine
2. Cloudy urine with small white or reddish particles in it.
3. A burning sensation when urinating
4. A burning or throbbing pain in the lower left-center abdomen
5. Headache, fever and a feeling of weakness & fatigue
The best way to fight off a Bladder Infection is too take on a daily routine of prevention by drinking lots of water and unsweetened cranberry juice. I personally like to mix 30% cranberry juice with 70% water, as by itself it’s a little too tart for me. Not to mention that by mixing them together my cranberry
juice goes a much longer way, saving me a little bit of money… I also like taking a natural supplement called “D-Mannose” twice a day. What it is, it’s a natural sugar that doesn’t effect the Pancreas and or the Glucose Blood-Sugar level in anyway whatsoever. It works by coating itself to the Bladder Wall, hence preventing Bacteria from attaching to the Bladder where they multiply by the millions and cause infections. This helps the Bladder to flush out Bacteria through the natural process.
