Trying to lose weight or limit your calorie intake?  These 5 items will help satisfy your sweet tooth without breaking your diet:

  • Popsicles - Who would thought something as delicious as a Fudgsicle would only have 70 calories?
  • Sliced Strawberries and Chocolate Syrup - If you are a chocoholic like me, sliced strawberries and chocolate syrup is the perfect substitute for dessert.  If you don’t like chocolate syrup you can add a little whipped cream to get your sugar fix.
  • Pudding - Easy to make, low calorie, filling, and delicious… what’s not to love?
  • Hot Chocolate – Make it with water instead of milk to limit the calories.  Hot chocolate is a great, low calorie way to fill your chocolate fix.
  • Dark Chocolate – Dark chocolate is actually quite good for you, just make sure to have only a little bit (no more than a 4th of a bar).  Also, you can mix with nuts to make it extra filling.
