This stunning car titled Chevrolet Beat Electric is not a hybrid form but is solely an Electric car among the small cars in India . This car is marching ahead in price for petrol version. The small car Chevrolet Beat Diesel is expected to offer 24kmpl fuel efficiency and will be incorporated soon by this year.

All the electric plug-in version of hatchback car Chevrolet Beat have been displayed by General Motors India (Chevrolet India) in New Delhi yesterday. The modified Chevrolet Beat Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) as per its name is a pure electric car just similar to Nissan Leaf but due to the Tax incentives it would be difficult to bring Beat Electric to Indian markets. General Motor has just given the demo of effectiveness of this battery technology which will be used in the future cars in India. A small contribution from the GM side on the world environment day.

Chevrolet Spark Electric consume lithium ion batteries which will shoot up the Chevrolet Beat Diesel price upto Rs7 Lakh rupees which will deduct the charm of this car. Instead of this Chevrolet Beat could usher in a battery charging system similar to that of mainstream production electric model,titled the Chevrolet Volt Hybrid.

Another model from Chevrolet is Chevrolet Beat Electric Vehicle which is boosted with the power of 300 cell filled with lithium ion battery getting charged up with the total energy capacity of 20KWh. 270 kg is the weight of the battery and can provide 130 Km on a full charge under moderate conditions. The battery can operate on different swings of temperature as it is liquid cooled and can function in extreme temperatures lying within the range of –20 Degrees to 45 Degrees Celsius.
