Laser eye surgery is becoming increasingly popular in the UK. However, many are deterred from having the procedure due to a fear of perhaps losing their eyesight if things go wrong. This fear is almost certainly unfounded and we don’t believe it has ever happened. That said, although very serious risks like this are virtually unheard of, there are certain laser eye surgery risks which need to be considered before going ahead with the procedure.
