There’s no better way to get a party started than offering your guests a cocktail or two when they first arrive. Cocktails have been around for years, but first gained popularity back in the 1920′s and 30′s.
Making cocktails is actually much easier than a lot of people think and doesn’t require a lot of sophisticated equipment. Just a few basics and plenty of ice will have you producing cocktails that will impress all your guests in no time!
There are a huge number of cocktails to choose from ranging from the ever popular Champagne Cocktail to spirit based cocktails like the Manhattan and the longer and very refreshing ones like a Sea Breeze made in tall glasses.
One of my favourite cocktails is a Margherita which is made from Tequila, Triple Sec, (Cointreau), Lime Juice, lots of crushed ice and a smattering of salt around the rim of the glass. Mmmm…delicious!
Why not try making some of your own. It’s fun and your guests will love it!
