With society always wanting more and more technology. Combining the CD slowly fading away, many are turning to the wonderful products that Apple is creating. With the 4th generation iPod touch out many are buying them up as fast as Apple can make them. But as I was looking at the many features of the 4th generation iPod touch I started to look at my iPhone and thought this phone was very expensive compared to the iPod touch and there are many features that are the same. Did I really need to buy the iPhone?
The iPod touch basically does everything the iPhone can do except make calls. But with the many apps you can download will allow you to text, or video chat with anyone. You also get the same apps, ebooks, podcasts, videos, and music that you get with the iPhone.
So could the iPod touch be a cheaper replacement for the iPhone? I am starting to say yes. It is around $400 cheaper with the same features. This could be perfect for families that have children that text constantly and want to save money on a phone bill. You don’t need to pay for any monthly plans, or keep track of how many texts they sent. It is all free and can do everything you or your children need and want.
So really you could go either way, but for people that want to save money and have the features of a iPhone the 4th generation iPod Touch can be a great substitute.
