Traditional wall decor was often characterized by heavy detailing through the use of flowers. Over time modern themes took on more simplistic designs and steered away from the use of flowers as a part of wall decor. However, now in recent times there has been an increased usage of flower wall decor in almost all living spaces. The idea of using this type of decor seems easy to many because of things like flower stickers, which allow you to put a flower up on any wall with no hassle, but even the somewhat easy forms of wall decor can be accompanied by major errors.  Here are some tips for using flower wall decor:

When using this type of wall decor, one should avoid applying too many flowers on a single wall because they will create a look of clutter and confusion on your wall. Pick a few key flower designs to be used so that they can be visually appealing without causing distractions.

• Designing a look with flower wall decor must be done with matching colors in mind. The wall surface where the flower designs will be placed should be painted with colors that blend with the entire room’s decor. It is wise to first pick a design of flower decor for a wall before deciding on a background color. The type of flower decor which you select should match and enhance the surface color of the wall. If it is difficult to match the flower to the wall then you should default to a white wall color.
