YOU BE THE MAKER OF THE PEACE I'LL BE THE PEACEMAKER

One of your oldest and bitterest rivals, O  Israel.   A relentless enemy.   From the time of the Pharoah there has always been a “Prince” in Egypt of Hebrew origin.   Someone like Joseph and Moses who through their actions influenced the governments there in favour of the Hebrew nation.   It seems these two nations destinies  are interwined for all time.

We ask for cordial relations and a cessation to all hostilities.   We ask the Lord, in fact we plead to the Lord to be merciful unto His people Israel and send them a Deliverer.   Hebrews in ancient times worked as slaves in the Egypt or over 400 years after Joseph’s death.   Joseph reigned in Egypt as only second in command to Pharoah.   Of coure,  after Pharoah had died the subsequent Pharoah’s knew not of Joseph and made life unbearable for the Hebrews dwelling in their land.   After Joseph’s death and the other patriarchs,  the Egyptians saw that the number of Hebrews had grown steadily.   While Joseph was alive the Hebrew nation thrived and prospered.

Life in Egypt became unbearable as the Egyptian masters treated the Israelites very cruelly.   The situation is very similar to South Africa where the African majority were ill-treated by their Afrikaner minority,  who were in power.   As God sent Moses to deliver Israel out of Egypt, so too many a deliverer was sent to liberate South Africa from the shackles of apartheid.   Moses was to execute the Exodus when the time was right and then lead the people as far as the border of Israel.   Moses was raised by Menmet,   Pharoah’s sister as her son and treated as such by Pharoah.

I pray the Egyptian muslim brotherhood remember their history with Israel and that sanity prevails once the spark of Jihad is ignited in the hearts of muslims everywhere especially in the Middle East.    Hebrews played a great part in the construction of ancient Egypt and served their Egyptian masters well.   Over the years Israel has been unjustly and unfairly treated because of their title as the chosen race.   A title little understood by those who have not understood  the real reason for such a title.   As a result the Hebrews  have been persecuted and discriminated against, cruelly and disrespectfully treated.   Even the House of Judah fail at times to realise that they are not anything special except that the Messiah issued forth from their particular House.

Jewish/Israeli arrogance has meant great hardship for the Hebrews worldwide.    Leading to great  hardships and difficult times.   What must be made clear is that whoever follows the Hebrew example of worshipping God as intended in His Holy Book,  means sharing in the same promises, blessings and priviledges as the House of Jacob.   Israelites must realise that theses promises are not exclusively theirs-and that the Messiah has come and gone and will come again.   JESUS!   Yes,  once this happens, then peace I believe will become a reality in the Middle East.    Acceptance of Jesus as Messiah is central to the Statehood of Israel.   Without such acceptance and continual denial could only spell disaster for that region.

Israel must realise that they have a formidable ally in Jesus and among the true followers of Christ.   They need no other deliverer except JESUS.   He is the answer to all our problems ESPECIALLY INCLUDING THE MIDDLE EAST CRISIS.   YES THE USA  is a powerful ally but Israel needs to trust in the Lord for now and for always for protection.   Acceptance of Jesus as Messiah is detrimental as  the first step!

PRAYER FOR THE MIDDLE EAST:-

Please remember Oh Father Thy covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and to make them into a great nation highly favoured of You and constantly enjoying Your protection when they remain faithful to You.

Father let your peace reign in the hearts of men and put aside all phobias from among them so as to promote religious, racial and cultural tolerance and peaceful co-existence.
