My childhood days were very hard. My father and mother had a tough time managing our family. They both worked hard, day and night, for me to study. After my SSC, I had to drop out of school as my family couldn’t afford me to join high school. I was aware of the situation and never felt bad about that. I was happy that now I can work and feed them properly. After dropping out I started helping my father in his furniture making business. I had no interest whatsoever in the furniture business. Once when I was helping my dad, our neighbour asked me to get medicines for her from the market as she wasn’t feeling well. The market was very far from our place. It took me one hour on my bicycle to reach the market and get the medicines. After I gave her the medicines she thanked me by giving 5 rupees. I refused it because I thought my father will not like me taking the money. But after much persuasion I agreed and took the money. Since then, I had tried many such ideas to earn money. Now after all these experiments I have settled with my boutique business. My life journey would definitely find a note in rags to riches stories.
When I decided to get settled in this business, I faced many issues. No business can be successful right from the beginning. As this boutique caters to fulfil the needs of every customer, I had trouble in inventory managing. There were many thefts from the boutiques.
