Working eight to ten hours a day never excited me. I always felt I should be somewhere else. I came from a good background with proper education. I was expected to bring home a good salary package right from the time I started working. My first job was at the call centre as a customer executive. The time I joined the BPO, call centre was booming in India. Every tom, dock and harry were working with a call centre. There was also speculation that there will be no growth in that sector. Today majority of the youth is working in some call centres or others.
I realized when I was working as a customer executive it would take at least four years to be an assistant manager and many more years after that to be at top management. I switched the job considering to wait for so many years to be at top management wasn’t feasible. I went switching jobs as and when someone was ready to hire me at a package bigger than the current one. I started analyzing the markets to figure out some unique idea to float my business. The idea came to me when I was working as a Team Lead with a reputed MNC. I was sure that the idea would sell. I quit my job and started my own company. The idea was presented by Google, which uses certain algorithms to display searched items on it. For any company advertising is the key for running business. My company started to serve such companies by agreeing them their company will be listed in Google search. This services we provided which everyone now knows as search engine optimization services.
The company started off well. Money was pouring in heaps. We were afraid about the rate of the speed we were getting workload. We started hiring more and more people for this. The problem we faced was after this. When we started hiring we maintained excel sheets for every employees. As the employees started increasing to preserve an excel sheet for all the employees was tiresome task. We had to automate the process and were in search of HR and payroll software. Our search for it ended when we found Hr-pro software. This software ensured everything was controlled and maintained properly. This software had all the details lf the employees working in my company. It also had their bank account details from which we could directly credit their salaries. The attendance and leaves was implemented very perfectly in to the software. It was internally linked; one change in any of the field will have similar change in their corresponding fields.
Now am able to serve my clients with all available resources. If there is any new client we could hire and start straight away servicing our clients, without wasting time in editing all the records to add new employees. It is now done by the HR department which adds all the records into the software database. Panoramic group maintain the quality of work in developing software.
