As a reporter, I asked them: “are not you being afraid of death?” one of them said: “of course we are afraid of it, but we are scare to be punished for homework even more. I don’t need to do homework anymore if I die”
Actually, I admire their courage to choose jumping from building. I believe adult people hardly ever have such courage, but this kind of courage if from the fact that they were punished for incapacity to finish homework. As children, most of them just need some time to enjoy themselves, such as collect wow gold. From those pupils, death is better than home work, which teachers and school should be shame of. After this case, is there still teacher can keep on saying that there is no problem with education in china?
Headmaster of the school gave us an explanation: “we did not allot too much homework to them; I think this is occasional event.” However, if not for heave task, why are they so scared of homework? Almost all teachers evaluate students from homework. When society complains too much homework, so called experts told us: “ok, so let’s decrease homework.” however, this is still useless.
