When a hand shake used to be your bond. You could tell by someones eyes that they were trust worthy, not any more!
Ever heard of social media? facebook? Nigel Botterill? Well, social Media is taking over the world! It is the biggest shift, personal and work wise since the industrial revolution! It has literally changed the way people live and breathe. Social Media is facebook, twitter, youtube, foursquare..it is the in thing at the moment and it will be for many many years! It is such a big culteral shift that it has been a pheonomeon!
With three or four years facebook has become the ‘norm’. I know when I log into my computer in the morning the first thing I go to..yep…social media! It wasnt too long ago, well, when I was a boy, that places like facebook, twitter and youtube didnt even exist…a computer was the size of a house and dont even go on about mobile phones…BT telephones boxes was all we had.
Now you can chat to anyone anywhere in the world for free…and face to face!…that I find truely amazing! Business used to be done face to face, ok, it was done over the the phone but very rarely. Now it is all computer this computer that If you are not yet social media savy…get to it!
