Seine Cruise

Sitting, snuggled up together as you float down the River Seine, waving at the passers by, sneaking a kiss as you pass beneath the city’s many bridges and watching the famous landmarks as you serenely float by.

Dinner on the Champs Elysees
France is renowned for its delicious cuisine and tasty wines and what better way to enjoy a meal than to sit in a restaurant on the legendry street.

Horse and carriage ride

Entwined together in an old fashioned horse and carriage is romantic anywhere in the world but trotting around the Paris streets it somehow seems more so.

Walks around the districts of Paris
Walking arm in arm around the Ile Saint Louis, this idyllic island suburb on the River Seine, full of narrow cobbled streets, boutique shops, quaint cafés and the Notre Dame Cathedral is simply adorable. The left bank and St Michel has all the fervent connotations of a lovers embrace, while the arty Montmartre, famous for its galleries, poets and Impressionisms just screams out romantic walks. While any district calling itself the Latin Quarter is going to be a passionate affair and Paris’s quarter is full of delightful antique shops, charming bookstores and quiet gardens.

Chateau de Versaille
A short trip into the Paris suburbs by train takes you to Versaille, the countryside palace of the French kings. There are the gorgeous rooms and museum to wander around but for a real romantic treat you just need to stroll around the formal English gardens of this delightful residence.

Chartres Cathedral

Slightly further out of Paris is the enigmatic Chartres Cathedral, a High Gothic church, very much in its original condition. The magical light through the precious medieval stained glass windows subtly lights the interior of the building and particularly impressive is the massive round, rose window.

View across Paris
Climbing the Eiffel Tower gives loving couples a breathtaking panoramic view across the city, its great height allows you to look down on the city in all its glory. You can also get a stunning vista by going to the top of the Arc de Triomphe and the towers of the Notre Dame Cathedral.
