I got this new puppy. She is a female miniature pinscher or mini-pin for short. Her name is Sasha. This dog loves to cuddle and play. She tends to want my undivided attention all the time. When I sit in front of my computer working, she has to be sitting on my lap. She will stay on my lap during my whole 8-hour shift. I try to put her down and she just jumps right back up again. I have never had a dog do this before. I have another dog, Scrappy, and he is 14 years old now. He is a cute little Yorkshire Terrier. He has never demanded the attention from me that my mini-pin wants. She sleeps right on my chest at night or down by my legs beneath the covers. She likes to be very warm all the time. On occasion, she will sleep right on my pillow beside my head. She refuses to go outside when it is cold. I have to put pads down for her to use in various parts of the house. I guess the best I can hope for is that she grows out of this phase at some point.
